Terms of Service

AirfareCoach monitors flight prices for the trips you create, tells you in plain English when to buy, and gives you a one-tap link to the airline’s booking page when you’re ready. That’s the product.

AirfareCoach is not a travel agency. We do not sell airline tickets, accept payments on behalf of airlines, or represent any airline. When you book, you book directly with the airline on their site, under their terms, with your own payment method. Anything that goes wrong with your booking, your itinerary, or your travel experience is between you and the airline — we are not your customer-service liaison with them, and we cannot change, cancel, or refund a ticket on your behalf.

Our recommendations are guidance based on price history, not guarantees. Prices, seat availability, and fare tiers can change between the moment we show you a recommendation and the moment you click through to the airline.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account.
• Don’t share your login publicly and don’t resell access to the service.
• Give us accurate information — bad email addresses, wrong phone numbers, or stale traveler counts make our recommendations wrong, which doesn’t help anyone.

• Free tier. Create an account, load your trips, and see prices and savings estimates for every trip — without paying.
• Free trial. Your first paid subscription includes a 10-day free trial. You can cancel any time during the trial without being charged. We don’t offer the trial twice on the same account.
• $49 per year. A paid subscription unlocks daily price monitoring, text alerts when it’s time to buy, and end-of-season savings tracking. The subscription auto-renews annually until you cancel.
• Taxes. Prices are in US dollars and don’t include applicable sales tax. If your state or local jurisdiction requires us to collect tax, it’ll be shown at checkout and added to your charge.
• Cancel anytime. Cancel from the Subscription page inside the app. Cancellation stops your subscription from renewing — your card won’t be charged again — and you keep paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.
• No refunds after the trial, except for referral rewards. The free trial is your chance to decide whether AirfareCoach is worth it. Once you subscribe, the annual fee is non-refundable — except when you earn referral rewards. Each friend who signs up with your referral code and stays past their trial earns you a $10 refund to your original card (posted in 5–10 business days), up to your $49 subscription cost. Beyond that, additional referrals credit your next renewal. At 10 paid referrals you also unlock free service for life going forward.
• We may change the price of future renewals. If we do, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance by email, and you can cancel before the new price takes effect.

If you opt in to text alerts, you agree to receive automated service-related text messages from AirfareCoach at the phone number you provide. We send price alerts, booking confirmations, and account notices — never marketing texts.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your trips and price activity. Reply STOP to any AirfareCoach text to opt out, or HELP for support contact information. You can also disable SMS from the Notifications page in the app at any time without affecting your account. Don’t use AirfareCoach to do anything illegal, abusive, or disruptive. In particular:

• No scraping, bulk-downloading, or reselling our price data.
• No automated access except through interfaces we explicitly provide.
• No reverse-engineering or attempting to compromise the security of the service.
• No using the service in a way that could damage, disable, or overburden it for other users.

We work hard to give you accurate prices and good recommendations. But prices come from third-party data, and the airlines’ own checkout pages are the final source of truth. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that a specific price will still be available when you click through to book.

The service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, AirfareCoach is not liable for missed flights, price differences at airline checkout, indirect or consequential damages, or lost profits. If we’re ever found liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

If your use of AirfareCoach causes us to be sued or fined — for example, you give us a phone number that isn’t yours and the owner files a TCPA complaint, or you violate the acceptable-use rules above — you agree to cover the reasonable costs we incur defending against it. This applies to your conduct, not to AirfareCoach’s own decisions.

AirfareCoach relies on the internet, cloud providers, mobile carriers, airline websites, and other third parties to deliver the service. We’re not liable for outages, delays, or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — including provider outages, carrier filtering of messages, airline website changes, natural disasters, cyberattacks, or government action. We’ll work to restore service as quickly as we can.

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. As described in “Subscription and refunds” above, suspension or termination doesn’t entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make changes that affect your rights, we’ll update the effective date at the top and notify you by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.
